Install MobileAP on Samsung Epic

This no longer works on Froyo (EC05). Use Wifi Tether v3 instead after you root the phone. Beware, Wifi Tether sometimes is iffy and can really mess up your phone!

1. Download one click root and root the phone
2. Install Titanium backup from the market and remove Sprint hotspot
3. Download MobileAP and put it on the sd card
4. Download clockwork recovery
5. Boot into clockwork recovery, apply the zip file from step 3
6. Reboot the phone and goto Settings>Wireless and network>Mobile AP Settings to enable MobileAP

So far it works on both 3G and 4G. Right now I am able to get 3~4mbps/1mbps on the hotspot!

SERO Premium

If you are on a SERO plan and wanted a new phone, now is your chance.
